When Alex was ready for the Naval Academy he played football all four years of his college career as a starting full-back and special teams as a kick returner, he played at least more than half of the games besides his sophomore year in 2009 because he had an ankle injury. Navy's starting fullback in seven of the 13 games in 2010, Navy’s second-leading rusher, gaining 863 yards on 147 carries and scoring five touchdowns all year. Alexander Teich weighing 217 pounds and standing exactly 6 feet tall was a monster dominating at his starting position as a full-back. During his senior year he played in his last Army Navy game and beat Army by 4 points in the last quarter, Alex got a chance to meet president Obama at the end of the game and got to talk to him.
